Rob Haskell - barndance & English Ceilidh caller

 Winchester-based Rob Haskell is renowned as an energetic caller with a great sense of fun. Working either with a band or on his own with the best current music, he is available for all types of functions: wedding receptions, birthday and retirement parties, fund-raisers, school or club social events and even French and German twinning events for a taste of English tradition and culture!
During the last 17 years he has worked all over England, performing with many bands such as Peeping Tom, Bursledon Village Band and Stomp and local bands Liquid Engineering, Mrs Widgery's Lodger, the Blarney Band, Stubble, Corn Rigs and Rufus Return.
Rob has called at dances at many venues, including some unusual places such as aircraft hangars and on board various ships (including the Chief Petty Officers' mess on HMS Victory) and in 1997 toured Northern China with Victory Morris and called at 4 ceilidhs - for the foreign language department at Nankai University and in and around Tianjin (2 of these with the help of an interpreter)!
